Overview

I redesigned Movinghub’s Partner Portal from the ground up — transforming a developer-built platform into a user-centred product for property managers and directors.
The project introduced the company’s first Bootstrap-compatible design system in Figma Make + CSS, improving usability, consistency, and scalability across products such as Referrals and the Partner App.

Key Contributions

  • Led the end-to-end redesign and established UX foundations within six weeks.

  • Conducted user research, flow analysis, and competitor benchmarking.

  • Facilitated shareholder workshops to align expectations, clarify UX process, and address IP misconceptions.

  • Built a reusable Figma Make + CSS design system integrated with the Bootstrap framework.

  • Trained developers to use Figma Make for efficient design–dev collaboration.

  • Unified terminology and UX writing across products for clarity and consistency.

  • Educated non-design stakeholders on iteration, accessibility, and UX maturity.

Challenges

  • No existing design files, documentation, or design system.

  • Unrealistic pre-Christmas launch timeline.

  • Low UX literacy and expectation of “one final design.”

  • Balancing user-centred design with fast delivery demands.

Outcome

  • Delivered a fully responsive, scalable portal that refocused the product on user needs instead of integrations.

  • The new design system accelerated future product releases, improved developer handoff, and elevated the company’s overall design maturity.
