Key Contributions
User Research & Interviews – Conducted surveys, contextual inquiries, and over 50 interviews to understand donor and shopper behaviours.
UX Design – Defined problem statements, empathy maps, archetype, and journey map to identify key opportunities.
UI Design – Created branding, typography, and illustration system inspired by Vinnies’ identity with a modern twist.
Prototyping & Testing – Designed low-, mid-, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and Marvel; ran iterative usability tests to refine flows for style personalisation, curation, and item reservation.
Challenges
Balancing cost-effective digital transformation for a non-profit with limited resources.
Creating a seamless donation and shopping experience while maintaining brand trust.
Managing user confusion during subscription and item-detail navigation during testing.
