Overview

Sushi Purasu is a takeaway restaurant located in the city of Adelaide, offering quick, high-quality Japanese meals — from sushi to rice bowls and ramen. The brand is designed to reflect speed, freshness, and quality, catering to the fast-paced lifestyle of urban professionals.

Key Contributions

  • I led the branding design, including logo creation, colour palette development, and overall visual identity. The goal was to create a clean, modern, and approachable aesthetic that resonates with the local white-collar audience.

Challenges

  • The main challenge was to craft a distinctive and contemporary Japanese-inspired identity that appeals to business professionals while maintaining cultural authenticity and visual simplicity suitable for a takeaway setting.

Outcomes

  • The new branding direction positions Sushi Purasu as a fresh, high-quality, and efficient choice for Adelaide’s city workers. The refined visual identity enhances brand recognition and appeal among its target audience.
